Penelope (not Penny!) and Mike came to Find My Retirement Home having done all of their own research and made a decision on the village where they wanted to live. Paradise Village was a large, regional complex with over 100 units, run by a solid church owner/operator. Penelope and Mike had decided on a two-bedroom unit and there were currently three available.
Paradise Village offered a variety of purchase options to Penelope and Mike and they were confused as to which scheme was most suitable for them. Find My Retirement Home carried out a financial comparison of the five different options available and discussed the impacts of each with the couple. Two of the options included features that were ideal for their financial situation. When Find My Retirement Home went in to negotiate the purchase with the vendor on behalf of Penelope and Mike, we were able to arrange a blended structure which took the most attractive features of both options and put them into the one contract.
Penelope and Mike were extremely happy with this outcome, as they were able to move into the village they loved, with the comfort of knowing they had negotiated the best possible deal.
